Types of Footwear

Foot wears are essential to complete a look. Every lady needs a pair of nice shoes or sandals that soothe whatever it is you are putting on. They are different types of shoes and some are more essential than the order. This is my list of ten most essential footwear every lady must have in her closet.

Slippers/flip-flops they are essential for day to day living, they are as important as food or water. They come with zero discomfort, easy to wear. They are best for casual outings, chill out with friends, or to the mall or even to the beach.

Sandals are the most essential, most comfortable footwear a lady can ever have. They suite majorly casual events, to the beach or the mall, to see a movie or just have drinks with friends. A pair of flat sandal is a most have for every lady.      

Ballet Flats they are perfect blend for comfort and style. They can be worn with practically anything and everything. They go well with jeans, skirts, shorts, minis. They are suitable for officially gatherings, or casual outings.   

Pumps. They are most time called high heel shoes. They go well for church, parties, work, weddings and almost everywhere. They are timeless, highly sophisticated and chic. A lady who doesn’t have a pair of pumps in her shoe collection, “is that even a lady”😜

Brogues/Oxford shoes this are men inspired shoes. They are highly sophisticated and really comfortable. They blend well with almost everything either you’re a wearing it with a pair of jean and a top or something for work. A pair of brogue will do justice to your look.    

Sneakers are also a major trend, they are super comfortable and they blend well with pretty much everything. And they are very perfect for Nigerian roads.

Chunky/ block heels. They are shoes with wide heels. It’s a better choice for people that find pumps and stilettos very uncomfortable as it’s a more comfortable option. It has a great balance and also highly sophisticated.

Gladiators. They add drama and oomph to your look. They are best for minis and shorts since it gives an illusion of covered legs but looks really sexy at the same time. This is a must have for lovers of shorts and minis.

High heel sandals, they are very elegant, really feminine and very classy. they are very much in style right now and they pass for not only work but also for drinks and events.

Wedge. There are 2 types of wedge shoes: wedge heels and wedge sandals. They are very classy and super comfortable. A best pair for any look because they match well with any look, could be worn during the day and at night.
